FRONTLogin and protection
The apex_session and apex_login cookies maintain login and protect the Steam callback. They last up to 7 days and 10 minutes respectively. They are necessary for authenticated access; blocking them prevents completing or maintaining your session.
Language and appearance
The frontwar_lang cookie stores your language for up to 1 year. Your browser also saves language, animated lights and map preferences such as layers, labels, opacity and filters. Local preferences remain until changed or deleted.
Temporary data
Session storage keeps the return to the dashboard and drawing drafts while the tab is open. When linking Rust+, the extension delivers the callback to the FrontWar tab, which sends it to the server over HTTPS. The app does not save this callback in browser local or session storage.
External services
FrontWar’s code does not integrate advertising or audience analytics tools. External services such as Steam, Facepunch, Stripe and network protection may use their own technologies when accessed. Their policies apply to those operations.
How to control them
You can change language and map options on the site, turn footer lights on or off, and clear cookies and local data in browser settings. This may sign you out and remove preferences or drafts; it does not delete data already saved on the server.
