FROM THE GAME TO FRONTWAR

Connect the server you play on

Sign in with your Google Account. Link your Steam account the first time you sign in.

Use the same Steam in game, Rust+ and FrontWar. Pairing the server and authorizing FrontWar are different steps.

You can pair the server with Rust+ Web on a computer, without installing Rust+ on a phone. The request is sent from the game and confirmed in the browser. Then use FrontWar+ in Chrome to authorize FrontWar in Connections.

  1. 01

Open Rust+ Web with your Steam

Go to app.playrust.com and enter the same Steam used in Rust. Open Settings and check notifications. Keep this tab open during pairing.

    Open Rust+ Web ↗

If No servers available appear, this does not yet mean failure: the game server remains to be added.

  2. 02

    Pair within the game server

Join the server you play on. Press Esc and open Session → Pairing. Click Pair. If you have paired before, use Resend Pair.

In previous versions, this option appears as Rust+ → Pair with server. The server must support Rust+.

    In game: Esc → Session → Pairing.Enlarge screenshot ↗

  3. 03

Check the pairing request in Rust+ Web

Return to Rust+ Web. The order may open automatically; If it doesn't open, check the notification bell. Check the server name and click Add Server. Open Central and confirm that the server is selected and displays current data.

If the request does not appear, check your Steam account and notifications, then resend the pairing request in the game. A server added in the mobile app may still need to be added in this browser.

View the official Facepunch guide ↗

  4. 04

    Install FrontWar+ in Chrome

Rust+ Web receives the server pairing. FrontWar+ automatically delivers the Facepunch authorization to FrontWar, without copying codes. These are two separate steps.

Install FrontWar+ from the Chrome Web Store to link or renew your Rust+ authorization.

    1. Add to Chrome

In Chrome on your computer, open the official listing using the button above. Use the same profile as FrontWar, click Add to Chrome, then confirm with Add extension.

    2. Check and return to FrontWar

After installing, reload FrontWar and open Connections → Link Rust+ (or Renew authorization). When FrontWar+ detected appears, click Authorize with FrontWar+.

Authorize with FrontWar+ and wait for confirmation.Enlarge screenshot ↗

Chrome automatically receives extension updates from the store.

If you used the manual installation, remove the old copy after installing from the store. Your saved FrontWar pairings remain available.

  5. 05

    Authorize through FrontWar+

In FrontWar, open Connections → Link Rust+ → Authorize with FrontWar+. Sign in to Facepunch with the same Steam account. The extension returns the result automatically and FrontWar validates the authorization before importing your pairings.

  6. 06

Sync and open the Tactical Map

After authorization, use Sync now under Connections. Wait up to one minute to view the pairing history. Check the name of the found server and open the Tactical Map.

If the server is missing from the history, resend the pairing request in the game after linking FrontWar. You do not need to enter an IP or token when automatic import finds the pairing.

SERVER NOT SHOWING UP?

Already paired with Rust+, but your server is missing?

If you already use Rust+ or had trouble syncing, resend the pairing request from the game. Your server may be saved in Rust+ without a recent request being available for FrontWar to import.

  1. On the Tactical Map, right-click on the location. On mobile, choose New marker and tap the map.
  2. Choose type, name, symbol and color. Use Mark Position to start at your character's current position.
  3. Click Apply to save. Reopen the point to edit; the owner's name appears next to the coordinates.

  1. Create a marker at the location, choose Enemy Base, enter the name and description and click Apply.
  2. Reopen the marker and choose Set Base Area. Check the selected registration and use Start drawing.
  3. In the game, go through the outer corners of the foundation in order. Stop at each corner, wait for the position to update, and use Record My Position.
  4. Record 3 to 64 points and use Close and Save. The last point will be connected to the first; do not record the first corner again.

  3. Use Undo Last Point to fix the last corner. Crossed lines and repeated positions need to be corrected before saving.
  4. With at least 3 points, use Close and Save. On the map, the territory appears with an outline and legend, without an icon in the center.

  3. To remove just the saved drawing, open Details and Devices and use Remove Outline. The registration and its devices remain.
  4. To delete the record, use Remove marker or Delete base and confirm. The point and linked devices exit; Registered bases and designs remain in history.

  1. On the map, open Base and wipe history. Choose wipe and the filter All bases, With raid registration or Active.
  2. Use View Log to view raid design, description, owner, coordinates and dates. Removed records may remain in history.
  3. View on map is available for a current point still present. The drawing of an old wipe appears as a diagram in the history.

  2. Pair near TC, with Steam linked online on the server. New pairings are consulted every minute; the character's position is an approximation.
  3. Open TC Monitors or Bases and TCs. If the position does not reach, adjust in Edit base or pair again near TC.
  4. For manual linking, open the registration, associate a server and use Link device with the paired ID. A regular box is not validated as TC.
  5. Open TC to check the latest reading, available items and maintenance. Name, position and warning limit are still adjustable in the automatic TC.

Step by stepConfigure TC alertsAdjust the maintenance warning and interpret the suspected raid pulse.
  1. Open TC and use Configure Alert. Choose a limit of 1 to 168 hours; below it, a recent maintenance reading generates the yellow warning.
  2. Open TC Alerts on the map to locate the alert points. Red indicates suspicion due to a sudden drop to zero or repeated individual failures.
  3. After 5 minutes without recovery, the red ends and TC is destroyed by the rule. Lack of power or removal of the monitor can also cause no reading.
